    We use only GOTS-certified organic cotton. This is cotton grown from seeds that have not been genetically modified (non-GMO) and grown without using chemical pesticides and fertilizers.

Certifications

  • GOTS

    The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for organic fiber production. Based on ecological and social criteria, it represents the most rigorous certification for organic cotton: it guarantees that cotton is grown according to organic criteria, without the use of genetically modified seeds or hazardous chemicals.

    It also guarantees the traceability of the raw material from the moment of harvest to the end customer, including transaction certificates at every stage of production.

  • OCS

    The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a voluntary international standard that verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a product by tracking raw materials from origin to finished product. This standard applies to Stanley/Stella products with less than 70 percent organic cotton.

  • Öko-Tex

    OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is one of the world's best-known standards for assessing harmful substances in textiles. The certification confirms that Stanley/Stella products are processed without chemicals that are harmful to human health and the environment. Standard 100 also prohibits the use of certain potentially harmful substances, although not yet legally banned, and ensures that products comply with the EU REACH regulation.
